Anti-wear unit of the hollow sucker rod, which is developed by our company, can prevent eccentric wear of the hollow sucker rod and tubing when tubing Ra is bent and inclined.

I.   Structure principle

The anti-wear unit comprises upper joint, rod, centering sleeve and lower joint which are integrated through friction welding, wherein the upper joint, the rod and the lower joint are connected in turn, and the centering sleeve is sleeved on the rod. The upper joint, the rod and the lower joint are all hollow. So liquid can be respectively transmitted through its inside and outside, and heating cables can be also set in it. The centering sleeve is made of metal materials like copper with the hardness lower than that of the tubing. Since the centering sleeve is still when pumping oil, the centering sleeve cannot be worn due to friction on the surface of the rougher tubing Ra; since the surface of the rod and the inner surface of the centering sleeve are smooth, although they move relatively, they cannot be worn easily. Therefore, the anti-wearing unit can not only ensure the tubing and sucker rod not to be worn, but also ensure its higher service life.
