The electric heating hollow sucker rod developed by our company is a new try of shaft lifting technology in heavy oil extraction at home and abroad currently, and it is a key technique of extracting extra-heavy oil and super-heavy oil.
The electric hollow sucker rod mainly comprises hollow sucker rod, heating cables, electric control cabinet and special transformer.
1. Hollow sucker rod
The hollow sucker rod can transmit the power of the pumping unit to the oil-well pump for pumping well liquid, and can also make special cables penetrated through the pump shaft and heated under the pump. The hollow sucker rod can break viscosity

and reduce resistance, and can make crude oil enter the pump sufficiently to
improve pump efficiency.
2. Special cables
The special cables are specially made according to the need of heating the hollow rod across the pump in line with the temperature of the shaft and different setting depths.
3. Electric control panel
KD-III-2 type electric control panel, employed when the hollow sucker rod is adopted for WF electric heating oil extraction across pump through electric heating, adopting integrated circuit chips, can achieve electrical control protection and electrical parameters display, can be used for controlling the make or break of the solid current collector, and can achieve the purpose of automatic control and protection.
4. Special transformer
The special transformer is designed and manufactured according to the need of the hollow sucker rod in WF electric heating oil extraction across pump and the use conditions of a conventional oil immersed power transformer, and according to the distribution and the required power of the oil well, special transformers corresponding to single well point and multiple well points (platform well) can be selected.
